ForceOut Takes a Company Green
ForceOut: is an environmentally-friendly industrial strength cleaning products company that sells products through an online e-commerce site.
The Situation: ForceOut was acquired by our client and required a complete rebrand. Because our clients were not green experts themselves, Cake was tasked with communicating the eco-friendly messaging while maintaining a genuine company voice.
The Solution: Instead of positioning the company as already being green, we created a company-wide objective to become more environmentally conscious. We created a new identity, including a website redesign, logo, and packaging that reflected this transition, and started a blog and social media platforms that joined employees on their journey to “go green.” For every purchase over $25, customers received a $5 gift card with a note asking them to spend the money on something that would help them take on a more eco-friendly lifestyle.
The Result: The company received significant positive feedback from customers, and online sales increased over 542% in the first six months after the launch. ForceOut is now considering an expanded product line and significant expansions of their social media presence.
