Emerge: Moving the Print Industry Forward
Consolidated Graphics: is one of North America's leading general commercial printing companies with 70 printing businesses located across 27 states. The company boasts the world’s largest digital platform, and provides end-to-end print and technology solutions to its customers.
The Situation: Consolidated Graphics wanted to enhance its brand by building awareness around the company’s annual emergeTM event, in which customers, suppliers, and employees collaborate on print technology and innovation.
The Solution: Cake helped build relationships within trade publications and general business media outlets to publicize this invitation-only event. We created a video teaser highlighting events and testimonials from the previous year’s event, along with email and print communications calling out new features at the upcoming event. Through a series of press releases, video interviews, social media activity, and facilitation of interviews with the press, we created industry buzz both around the event and Consolidated Graphics in general.
The Result: Local, trade and national magazines and broadcast television reporters attended emerge, and the event received a very positive 2-page print feature in Printing Impressions magazine titled, “CGX Emerge Conference: New Standard for Events.” From interviews, a series of marketing videos were created highlighting both the event and company capabilities.
